As a gymnast and a coach Martin has been involved with gymnastics all his life. He has produced many State & National Champions and in 2013 travelled to New Zealand as the Men’s Head coach on the Australian Levels Tour. Level 2 MG Coaching Accreditation and under the Australian Gymnastics 2001, 2002 and 2003 Martin was awarded Australian Men’s Level Coach of the year. 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2012 Martin was awarded NSW MAG Development coach of the year. Awarded Merit Award for distinguished services to Gymnastics NSW in the order of 5 years as well as the NSW Men’s Levels Coach of the year. 2013 Australian National Championships Martin Coach Achievement Award. Accredited Kinder gym coach and Certificate IV in Business management. Advanced Silver Coaching Qualification.

Ming Lu
Senior MG Coach
Coaching for 25 years including 6 years of coaching at the Australian Institute of Sport and 2 years of coaching at the NSW Sport Centre. Has been awarded WAG Elite Coach of the Year, WAG Levels Coach of the Year, MAG Elite Coach of the Year and MAG Levels Coach of the Year. Accredited to Coach Levels 1 – 10, MG and WAG Has represented the Australian National Team in World Championships and the Commonwealth Games along with Boys and Girls Australian National Championships. As a gymnast represented the Chinese National Team for 10 Years Winning World Championships Team Medal in 1985 and winning Chinese National Championships Gold Medal in 1987.

World level coach with 20 years’ experience. Toni Dyson
WG Senior Coach & WG L1-3 Coordinator
Toni has over 16 years of gymnastics experience including 10 years of coaching over 4 continents; Europe, North America, Asia and Australasia. WG Level 1 Qualified Coach and Salto Accredited 2012 Bachelor of Sport Science from the University of Gloucestershire along with being accredited in British Women’s Gymnastics as a Club Coach and Women’s Artistic Judge. In 2012 moved to Manly Warringah Gymnastics Club to continue her career in coaching. 2000-2004 Toni competed in British Grades and Voluntary levels up to Level 3 (NDP 8/9) AA and BUSA (British Universities) Novice (non-elite) Gymnast and Team Member 2005

Tory Santangelo
Trampoline and Tumbling Head Coach
MG gymnast with Manly Warringah Gymnastics Club from 1995 to 2005, reaching Level 8. Accredited Level 1 MAG Coach, Level 1 Trampoline Coach along with Certificate 3 and 4 in Personal Training. Has been coaching at MWGC for 7 years starting as a Schools Coach and progression to MAG and WAG coaching. Started the Tumbling and Trampolining Program at MWGC over a year ago and already has coached 2 State Champions and 1 National Champion.

Iva Horvatic
Schools Program Supervisor - GFA Coach & KG Coach
Iva participated in school competitions and resumed gymnastics again in 2011. Her coaching style is influenced by over 10 years of professional dancing and teaching dance classes. Iva likes to focus on the technique of the students while keeping the classes engaging and fun.

Heather Rath
Kinder Gym Coordinator & WG Coach
2004-2007 State Gymnastics Champion 2006 Level 9 National Gymnastics champion 2004-2006 Competed for Australia in International gymnastics challenge Heather started working at MWGC in 2006 whilst competing in level 10 (NDP). Heather has recently become the Kinder gym coordinator organising classes for the under 5s program. She currently coaches two squads, IDP 1 and NDP 4. As well as coaching gymnastics, Heather has recently finished University with a secondary PDHPE teaching degree.

Bughy Uruci
WAG Senior Coach
Bogdan has represented Romania in Gymnastics at various elite European competitions, finishing second overall in France in 2005. He has been involved in gymnastics and coaching for 18 years, which includes 1 year coaching MAG in Romania, 7.5 years at the helm of Dubai Olympics Gymnastics Club coaching MAG & WAG. His teams in Dubai placed higher and more frequently than any other club or coach in the region.
