Our recreational programs are designed to suit anyone who wants to be involved in all gymnastic related sports. It’s all about having fun and learning the skills to be able to do that summersault you’ve always wanted to do.
At MWGC we encourage your kids to explore, create and discover their gymnastic and sporting talents. There is a fun new theme each week and your child will have the opportunity to learn and practice gross motor skills. They will learn swinging, spinning, rotations and many other gymnastics and sporting skills which will give them a fantastic start for which ever sport they choose to take up.
The competitive program is governed and overseen by Gymnastics Australia. Our Competitive Programs are limited and are offered to only a small number of gymnasts, they provide many opportunities and therefore selection and participation should be viewed as a privilege.
Develop basic gymnastics skills
A variety of equipment and classes involve fun and challenging activities that develop a wide range of physical attributes including strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.
Track your progress
In our recreational classes gymnasts can see their progress in stages that range from 1 to 8 and the testing gets done throughout the term. If they successfully complete the stage they will then progress to the next one and will receive a certificate of completion.
The recreational program is the perfect start up program where gymnasts get spoted and invited to a development program.
The Manly Warringah Gymnastic Club (MWGC) has served our community for over 30 years and seen approximately 10,000 members pass through its doors in that time. From a foundation membership of six people in the early 1980’s where the club was based in a public hall in Allambie its membership has grown substantially and now boasts over 2000 children and young adult members attending activities every week.

"Our mission is to give every member the opportunity to reach the highest level that they are each capable of achieving. To one child the goal maybe to do a cartwheel, to another it maybe to become an Olympic champion".
